INTRODUCTION
1.         Target Shooting and attendance on the following advertised courses provide an excellent sporting opportunity. Target Pistol, Smallbore and Fullbore Target Rifle now have Individual Military Training (IMT) status as the courses have transferable skills which improve operational marksmanship.

COURSE APPLICATION INFORMATION

2.         Course application details may be obtained by contacting the Chief Clerk at HQ ARA by email at  ArmyCapCbt-SASC-ARA-OC@mod.uk Tel 94211 8084. Applications must be submitted at least six weeks before the course starts. You will still be charged for the course if you cancel your attendance less than 14 days prior to the course commencing; unless the cancellation is for operational/service reasons.

3.         Should your unit have sufficient personnel interested then we can arrange extra courses to suit.

4.         Clay Pigeon Shooting Association (CPSA), Clay Target courses available are:

a. CPSA Shotgun Skills - 1 day course - £25.
b. CPSA Safety Officer - 1 day course - £40.
c. CPSA Instructor Development Workshop (IDW) - 1 day course - £100. d. CPSA Level 1 Instructor course - 4 day course - £425.

5.         Personnel attending the following CPSA courses are to be:

a. CPSA Safety Officer – In date CPSA Clubman member.
b. CPSA IDW and Level 1 Instructor – In date Full CPSA member.

6.         Joining the Association for Target Rifle, Smallbore Rifle or Target Pistol courses is not required, but students are encouraged to join the Army Target Shooting Club to progress their expertise and attain places in the Army’s shooting teams and selection for the ASCB Elite Olympic 2020 training squads in Pistol and Smallbore Rifle disciplines.

7.         Fullbore (7.62)Target Rifle courses available are:

a. Target Rifle Introductory Course – 2 day course - £50.
b. Target Rifle Instructor Course – Any personnel requiring this qualification are to contact HQ ARA.

8.         Smallbore (0.22) Target Rifle courses available are:

a. Basic Course – 5 day course - £50.
b. Advanced Techniques Course – 5 day course - £50. c. 3 Positional Course – 5 day course - £50.

9.         Target Pistol, Air and .22 Olyimpic pistol, courses available are:

a. Beginners Course – 3 day course - £50.

Accommodation Options

Hythe Lodge – Free of charge transit accommodation available at Bisley. There are a total of 32 bed spaces.

ATSC Clubhouse - £10 per night for members / £35 per night for non-members. Single & Double rooms available, all bedding is provided. 16 x Single Rooms, 2 x Twin Rooms, 1 x Double Room, 1 x Family Room (Double + Single)
