FESTIVAL OF SPORT

The 104 Log Sp Bde Festival of Sport took place at the Duke of Gloucester Barracks, South Cerney on 17 Jul 16. The aims of the festival were to:

a. Publicise the sporting opportunities available to all personnel within 104 Log Sp Bde.

b. Provide an opportunity for all Regular and Reserve personnel within 104 Log Sp Bde units to participate in a range of competitive sporting activities.

c. Promote fitness, teamwork and leadership through the conduct of competitive sport thereby assisting in the development and maintenance of the Army’s core values.

The AMTC staff attended and provided support to personnel who were interested in developing their marksmanship skills in the future. A key way to develop your marksmanship skills for those interested would be to attend a Target Pistol Course which develop your ability to fire sports pistols and Service Pistol more effectively.  Those with an interest can find the details for the next target pistol course in the Fixtures list of this website.
